  • Day 17: Walls going up. Tea going down.

    Whilst Robin the builder is away his team carry on in good spirits. I have warned them that the BBC EMT camera team is coming tomorrow morning.   

  • Day 16: Delivery lorry wrecks mailbox

    Delivery lorry bringing a new wine tank for tomorrow’s harvest knocks mail box off gate pillar. Beyond repair

  • Day 15 Builders not here…..

    …. so I nipped off to Birstall and received a warm welcome at the Women’s Institute. What splendid ladies! After the traditional singing of Jerusalem, the meeting was held and then I did a wine tasting. Lots of laughter as members debated which wine they preferred.The event got merrier and merrier. My only regret is…
