Day 72 Henspection of wheelchair ramp footings
No chance to get provisions so builders have had to bring a flask. Must look after them better tomorrow. Henspection of pit dug for wheelchair ramp.
Day 71 Toilet extension project
The builders are back! This area will become a patio, in front of the new greenhouse, where visitors can sip wine in my optimistic hope of a sunshine summer. Now must check provisions… Eeek! Not enough to last builders more than an hour…..

Modify 2 rows of vine trellis
Took our agricultural contractor with helper, plus me, a very long day to convert two rows of vigorous solaris vines from a double curtain to a Sylvos single curtain. This should make life easier for the grape pickers – BUT I AM EXHAUSTED!
All action pruning
With the improved weather there has been an onslaught on the pruning. Aided by volunteers Laura, Paul, Clive and Michelle, 12 rows have been “done” with 29 still to go. Eeeek! We are now in a race against the improving weather and bud swell with the evil spring frosts lurking. We must get those secateurs…
