Problem getting roof tiles and door frame. No disabled door’s door frame available anywhere in the UK – would you believe it!! Plumber and electrician have done their first stages.

Render on walls. Roofing felt and lathes in place. Just waiting for slate tiles to arrive.

Lots of activity with high-tec carpentry tools and the toilet ceiling joists are now up. Work proceeding at a cracking pace and I am really pleased.

The builders are back. They have been working at a cracking pace. Better put the kettle on. Hope they don’t find out what their wheelbarrow was used for on Saturday!

Builders due back today. Nipped out to the Co-Op and bought both Rothley and Mountsorrel branches out of sugar much to the bemusement of the staff.
